The Seven Last Words of Christ by Théodore Dubois
Plan to be present on Sunday afternoon, March 24, at 4:00 p.m. to hear this oratorio based on Christ’s seven last words from the cross. This is a beautiful and moving piece of choral literature for solo voices and choir, directed by Phil Holzman. And bring your checkbook! This concert is our congregation’s annual fundraiser for the MN FoodShare March Campaign. All the proceeds raised at this concert will be donated to the Little Kitchen Food Shelf and the Salvation Army’s NEED Food Shelf, both of which are here in NE Minneapolis.
