Volunteers Needed!
Six days a week, community groups including Gethsemane Lutheran Church, the A Mother’s Love Initiative, and New Salem Baptist Church work together to provide a food distribution in North Minneapolis. This food distribution is serving people who have been hit hardest by both the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent civil unrest, and takes place in the parking lot of the W. Broadway Cub Foods.
GA is partnering with First Lutheran of Columbia Heights to provide a team of 4-5 (or more!) volunteers every Saturday, noon-3 p.m. Volunteers will help sort, pack and distribute food.
