TRANSITION TEAM UPDATES

For most of 2011, the Transition Team has been meeting with our Interim Pastor, David Solberg to study our congregation, create a vision for moving forward and fill out the Congregational Profile. During October and November, the Transition Team presented a report on 8 areas where we envision living into our mission.

BRIDGE BUILDER TEAM UPDATES

In 2009, GA Church began a Bridge Builder Process with the goal of creating a healthier congregation who would be more aware of their mission and vision.

3 Crews were formed to see to some of the tasks of change:
Mission & Vision Crew, Communication Crew, Health Crew

2010: Eight Core Values are identified
Love, Joy, Hope, Comapassion, Spirituality, Forgiveness, Acceptance, Respect

2010: A Code of Conduct is written. Please click here to read it.

2010: A new mission statement is adopted.
God's Mission for GA Church: to build community where God is at the center.
